Youth Preparedness Initiative

The Youth Preparedness Initiative is aimed at preparing young people for emergencies, disasters, and various life challenges. The curriculum is designed to equip youth with the necessary skills, knowledge, and resources to effectively respond to and cope with disaster situations and are aligned with Louisiana State Standards.
